Mona Bang Bang

Sun on my Back, Mona Bang Bang, demo

Everything and Nothing, Mona Bang Bang, demo

The Queen, Mona Bang Bang, demo

Just the Beginning, Mona Bang Bang, demo

If there was a band I had played with that could have made it, it would have been this one. ‘Sun on my Back’ played frequently on the radio, we had fun shows, and the songs were good. I make no apologies for the sugary pop we wrote. These songs here are the demo we recorded in 1990 and my first experience in the studio.

I recently found out that Daniel Dinardo who played bass and co-wrote these tracks has died. This saddens me deeply. It also makes these tracks mean just that much more to me.

Been a long time since I did the stroll…

    Thanks for the mp3s!

  • As I recall this was recorded in early/mid 1990. MBB had already been playing out as a band when I came along, but to be honest, I don’t know for how long. I am not sure if they made any other demos before I joined. If these were the songs you heard though the year was 1990. Thanks for your comment.
